Better Buses Ball

Why pay for petrol when you can enjoy the comfort and convenience of a bus? – We don’t spend our hard earned dollars on petrol and contribute to emissions, we just ride the bus! #carscringe! Let’s reduce our carbon footprint and make a positive impact on the environment together.

Snap Action: Duplicate the Upfield Train Line

20 minute trains at peak hour, train cancellations & overcrowding is normal on the Upfield Line. The train is infrequent because there is only a single track north of Fawkner. That means trains can’t pass each other. The track needs to be duplicated.

Sydney Rd Accessible Tram Stops Rally

There are no accessible stops between Brunswick Road and Bakers Road, Coburg North – a 5.5km stretch. Once the Upfield train line is closed for the construction of the Sky Rail, expected to start sometime in 2026-27, there will be NO accessible public transport along the Upfield corridor, a high-density population area, for at least 18 months.

Sweltering Cities Busted Bus Stops Report Launch

We asked our NSW supporters to be part of this campaign by filling in our Tell Us About Your Bus Stop Form about their local bus stops: photos and information relating to that stop, whether it had a seat and or shelter etc, whether it was accessible and any other information they thought was relevant.

Better West Market Stall

Better West is active in developing an active transport plan for our local suburbs. The Council have a plan which they call the Greenline. We are being stonewalled. On the day we’ll be asking local residents what they expect and when and building our own local active transport plan.

Better Streets Members Pub Night

Meet up for our members in Sydney to coordinate our efforts and find out how we can create better streets for all

Kidical Mass #Safe on Summerhill

Starting at the Summerhill Triangle Park we will finish at the Braybrook Hub where council is to decide the future of Summerhill Rd.
We encourage you to register to speak at the council meeting to share your experience of riding on summerhill rd or why you don’t and how it negatively impacts your access to essential local amenities.
